TOEIC TEST

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC®) is one among the tests conducted by The Educational Testing Service (ETS) in Princeton, New Jersey. Many international institutes, companies and government agencies have been using TOEIC for more than 25 years to evaluate the non native speakers English proficiency. TOEIC tests the communicative level of non native English speakers in an international environment. The test is conducted in an open unrestricted sitting at companies and language schools around the world. The TOEIC tests the test givers English adeptness on different levels.

Unlike GMAT, TOEFL, etc TOEIC is a not a computer adaptive test. The test is paper based and has to be completed with in the time span of two and a half hours. There are two sections in the TOEIC, the Listening section and the Reading section. The questions are multiple choice and two hundred in number.

No specific or additional knowledge or vocabulary is necessary other than the awareness English used in everyday work behavior.
