The OAT students should be mail the application at least one month before the planed exam dates. It is in the best interest of the student to take the test no later than the fall of the year prior to the preferred admission date. In most schools students who meet the admission criteria are placed in an alternate list if the submission of the OAT scores is received after the February 1. Those on the alternate list are offered a position only when the necessary number of places in the entering class is not established. Therefore, it is best take the OAT test early to avoid such situation andcontemplate on getting the applications done on time.
