CPA Test Fee

The CPA exam fee will vary for one jurisdiction to the other. Students can expect to pay anywhere between $575-$800 for all four section of the test while appearing for the first time.

These costs cover the grading fee, the seat time at the testing center and processing fees charged by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) and the state board application fee.

The students are required to pay the application fee first to the Board of Examiners and after board approval, the remaining examination fees has to be paid. There are no additional charges for students taking the examination outside their jurisdiction except of Guam. The Re-score fees too may vary from each jurisdiction. Students are advised to contact their board of accountancy, or its designee, for the re-score fee that applies to them.

The re-examination fee is normally about USD50 less than the first time registeration. The application fees are non refundable and are to be paid to the Board of Accountancy. The number of sections that the student applies for has nothing to do with the cost of the application fee.

The Examination Fees that the students are required to pay include the computer testing charges, grading charges and administrative charges. The students have to pay their exam fees directly to the NASBA through the method of payment indicated on the payment coupon. Students are expected to pay for all sections approved on the ATT within 90-days from the date specified on the ATT.
