CBEST PASSING REQUIREMENTS

The TSPC was given the responsibility of deciding the minimum passing score for the CBEST at Oregon with the help of data gathered through the advisory committee, the September 1984 standard-setting data, and similar practice in California. There are periodic reviews conducted to upgrade the passing standard. There is no nee to retake the test once the student passes all the sections. It has a life long validity and doesn’t need any renewal at any point of time.
