ASSET Test Scoring
Scoring and Reporting Options
ASSET® scores are provided to the student immediately on completing the ASSET Test. The scoring and reporting are available to the students with the following choice:- Option 1 with self-score answer documents. This option requires no scoring machine or computer.
- Option 2 with machine-score answer documents, for use with a stand-alone scanner.
- Option 3—microcomputer database system. The software provided with this option scores the answer sheets and immediately prints an ASSET Student Advising Report, complete with localized course placement recommendations and references to campus support resources. In addition:
- The system includes query capabilities for use in generating lists, mailing labels, or letters to support your recruitment and retention efforts.
- Students can upload data from the ASSET system to their campus computer system.
All three options provide:
- Immediate Student Advising Report
- Immediate Educational Planning Report
- Immediate Transfer Planning Report
Unlike usual test that are conventional the ASSET test is used not just to evaluate the students strengths but weakness as well. There is no "passing or failing score” for students taking the ASSET Test. The scores of the ASSET test helps to identify student’s problems in major subject areas before they disrupt their educational progress. The ASSET helps he students by giving them the opportunity to prepare more effectively for needed courses. The score results are made available to the students on the same day the test is taken.
